Dr. Daryl Holloway is a licensed clinical psychologist whose professional experience spans community mental health, school systems, college counseling, outpatient practice, clinical leadership, supervision, and graduate education.<\/p>\n
As an educator and Associate Director of Clinical Training, Dr. Holloway brings an energetic, relational, and engaged approach to teaching and clinical training. She encourages students to think critically about how psychological theory, research, ethics, cultural context, and self-awareness translate into culturally humble and clinically competent practice. Across her teaching, advising, and clinical training work, she emphasizes reflective practice, professional identity development, and attention to the broader systems in which psychologists and their clients live and work.<\/p>\n
Dr. Holloway\u2019s primary scholarly interests include clinical supervision, supervisor development and training, and the processes that support effective clinical training. A second area of her scholarship focuses on climate change and mental health, including the mental health impacts of climate change, health equity, and the role of psychologists in responding to climate-related challenges and advancing systems-level change. Her broader scholarly interests include attachment and parent\u2013child relationships, parental mental health and child well-being, developmental stressors across the lifespan, ethics in psychological practice, and interpersonal processes in psychotherapy.<\/p>\n
