The list is featured annually in the December issue. The publication seeks to provide servicemen and servicewomen with information that will help them make decisions about higher education<br \/>\nMAE staff evaluated each submission by our strict criteria. As the first publication to do a military friendly list, MAE has been improving the process every year in order to provide our men and women in uniform information that will help them make the right choices about college.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2014\/01\/2014-best-colleges-veterans-badge.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1801 size-full\" title=\"2014-best-colleges-veterans-badge\" src=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2014\/01\/2014-best-colleges-veterans-badge.png\" alt=\"Award: U.S. News Best Colleges - Veterans - 2014\" width=\"126\" height=\"126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2014\/01\/2014-best-colleges-veterans-badge.png 126w, https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2014\/01\/2014-best-colleges-veterans-badge-115x115.png 115w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 126px) 100vw, 126px\" \/><\/a>Augsburg was also ranked among the top 10 Best College for Veterans regionally by U.S. News and World Report in the 2014 edition of the U.S. New Best Colleges. Schools were ranked based on their \u00a0participation in federal initiatives helping veterans and active service members apply, pay for and complete their degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Augsburg College proudly supports military veterans and those who actively serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.
